The Jain Community residing in Chennai, has set up Shree Chandraprabhu Jain College in Minjur in the year 1997. The purpose of establishing the college in the rural dwelling implicates the strong sense of social responsibility and passion for service ignited in the Golden Jubilee year of India’s Independence.

The Management strongly believes that right knowledge is basic requirement for the pursuit of spiritual aims, righteous conduct, integration of creed, righteous word and righteous deed and the ultimate emancipation of the soul from the mundane world which is the  essential goal for all living beings. Besides, it also believe that learnings should be a pleasant experience with moral inputs. Piety can be attained by means of purest peace of mind with highest culture imparted by education.
