The Department of Tamil was established in the year 1997. The department offers Tamil as a Part I Language Subject for all Departments. The department is committed to the growth of the students into well rounded individuals. Our department provides ample opportunities to gain values for life.
The Dept.of Tamil started a ‘payirchi pattarai’ a platform for the students to bring out their talents in Tamil language. The Dept. motivated the students to participate in Essay Writing, Elocution, Drawing and Poetry competitions organized by various Institutions.
Our Department Organizes Kani Tamil Peravai, Kampan kazhagam, Tamil valarchi thurai, Murasoli Arakattalai, Student Council and Vivekananda Kendram. And these clubs creating a district-wide student competition.
