The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1997. Additional sections were started in the year 2000 to enable the prosperty of more students and benefit to better their prospects. At present we offer a 3 year Undergraduate program of B.Sc(CS). The department has 5 qualified faculty members specialized in various areas. The department is equipped with a state-of-the art Computer Lab that helps sophisticated teaching-learning process. Latest softwares have been installed to enable the upliftment of faculty as well as students to pursue their project works.  Faculties are also participating in various Development Programs to cope with the constantly changing technological trends. All the faculties have been deputed to update their technical skills by attending Short Term Courses.

This College has been a member of ICTACT (Now ICT Academy of TamilNadu) and constantly receiving their Publications and Journals.  Further, the staff and students have been continuously deputed to participate in all the Programmes / Training Courses/ Awareness meets organized at different colleges.

There are around 2000 books and many journals related to Computer Science are subscribed for the benefit of the students and faculties.
