The Department of Computer science and Computer Applications of Shree Chandra Prabhu Jain College, Minjur has conducted a seminar on Big Data Analytics on Friday, 2nd August 2019.
Principal Dr.V.Nagajothi and Vice Principal Dr.N.Sujatha presided over the function and honored the Guests. He congratulated the program coordinators Mrs.S.Akila, HOD (Computer Science) and Mr.A.P.Babu, HOD (Computer Applications) along with Staff and Students for organizing the valuable program. In his address he spoke about the need for the study of Data Science and Data Analytics and the positive side of it. This will enable the students to achieve better results in their endeavors.
The Honorable Chief Guest Dr.S.Vasudevan, Director, Institute of Analytics(USA)chaired over the function and gave a remarkable overview over Big Data, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The guest of Honor Dr.R.Senthamarai, Dean, Institute of Analytics (USA) gave information through video clippings on data, analysis and how to predict information.
The students present there gained knowledge about how Artificial Intelligence plays its role in their daily life. They came to know how the Data is growing, size of data, tools available for data analysis like R programming, Python, Mongo DB etc.
